BRIEFING: Strand Beach at 09h30

RULES
 

All races will be run in accordance with the latest SAIBA rules.

 
STIPPING OF MOTORS
 

ANY boat in each class could be impounded for inspection by the
Officer of the day. It is the responsibility of the pilot or representative
to be present at the stripping.
 
BOAT NUMBERS
 

Race numbers must be printed and affixed as per Rulebook regulations.

 
SAFETY EQUIPMENT
 

Safety equipment as per rule 569.12 (page 28)

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
 

Only SABS approved Life Jackets will be permitted as per rule 565.02 (page 20)

Only SAIBA approved helmets will be permitted as per rule 565.01 (page 20)

 
RESCUE
 

No Pilot or Co-Pilot is allowed to practice without a rescue craft present
on the water and without the permission of the OOD. Any Pilot or co-Pilot
on the water without rescue craft could be disqualified from the event.
